Stadco is the UK's largest Tier 1 supplier of BIW pressings and assemblies and the only one with a full product design capability from styling and concept development through to production design, launch support and production facility implementation.

Stadco has operations in the UK, Germany, Russia and now, India. Stadco has also delivered a number of projects in India, North America, South America and Europe.

Stadco Automotive Pvt. was formed in 2008 and will offer Engineering services, BIW prototyping and BIW manufacture through a phased move into the Indian market.

Engineering Services

Stadco established its Indian technical centre in Chennai in 2008, supporting both international OEM's and domestic Indian automotive manufacturers.

The facility already offers a wide range of technical services and has access to the full range of engineering capability at its UK hub.

BIW prototyping

Stadco has already supplied prototyping services into India from the UK in the past.

Stadco plan to be the first world class BIW prototype supplier based in India and 2009 will see the first step in establishing facilities to support complete body structures for both passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors.

BIW manufacturing

Stadco is world renowned as a key BIW manufacturing partner for the global OEM's, supplying all BIW parts and assemblies up to complete body structures.

As well as production supply Stadco has established press shops and BIW assembly facilities around the world for companies such as Ford, GM, and JLR.
